<div style="text-align: left;">
So, I've been reading a lot lately, and this is just one of the books that I decided to read based off of the suggestions on Goodreads. Below is a summary: </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;">New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., have been abandoned.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;" /><i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;">The Bill of Rights has been revoked, and replaced with the Moral Statutes.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;">There are no more police—instead, there are soldiers. There are no more fines for bad behavior—instead, there are arrests, trials, and maybe worse. People who get arrested usually don't come back.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;">Seventeen-year-old Ember Miller is old enough to remember that things weren't always this way. Living with her rebellious single mother, it's hard for her to forget that people weren't always arrested for reading the wrong books or staying out after dark. It's hard to forget that life in the United States used to be different.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;">Ember has perfected the art of keeping a low profile. She knows how to get the things she needs, like food stamps and hand-me-down clothes, and how to pass the random home inspections by the military. Her life is as close to peaceful as circumstances allow.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 13.8px; line-height: 19.32px;">That is, until her mother is arrested for noncompliance with Article 5 of the Moral Statutes. And one of the arresting officers is none other than Chase Jennings—the only boy Ember has ever loved.</span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Honestly, I wasn't really sure how I would feel about this book just because I got "Divergent" vibe from it. But, it was seriously amazing! :) I loved it! Y'all should definitely read it (and yes, my Texan-ness is most definitely coming out right then :P)! The way it progresses is really interesting, and it was really cool to figure out which side various people were on and whether or not people were faking their loyalty.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />There are two other books in the series: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="400" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51f28gfcSNL._SY344_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg" width="267" /> <img height="400" src="http://www.tor.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/three1.jpg" width="263" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Both of these, as was with the first book, are both fantastic, and I most definitely loved them. I loved the way the plot developed, and although part of the ending in "Three" was sad, I still loved how it ended! :) </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
Alright...so for those of you who haven't already read Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout, please please PLEASE do! It is completely beautiful, as my review about it says. Back to the point...</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Onyx was fab. So many plot twists throughout and the relationship development was really funny to watch. As can be expected, I totally ship Daemon and Katy. Seriously, Blake, you need to just go die in a hole or something. You have no chance with Katy. EVER. Fantastic book with such eeriness and plot development and character development, and yes I know my grammar is horrible in that sentence, but it just had to be done! :)<br />
<br />
So, read it. Please! It's great! </div>
Gabriellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12875196019856759358noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5419521106444334502.post-89822301614746575832015-05-25T10:16:00.000-07:002015-05-25T10:16:14.344-07:00Just One Day, Just One Year, Just One Night---all 3 Reviews :)<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1368722144l/17623975.jpg" /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Ok, so here we go, time to try and get back in the swing of things and review some books! So, I've decided to review this series, which I JUST finished. Let's just say, I cried like 20,000 times inside and then suddenly was super happy and then was super sad. This whole series brought on an emotional roller coaster. For Just One Day, I loved the way it developed. The way it had her falling in love, but all of a sudden losing Willem for seemingly no reason. It was adorable how quickly that love affair came about. :) But then he "left" her and I cried and cried and cried and felt so bad for Lulu or Allyson. I don't know which you want to call her. Either is fine with me, she's a cutie either way. Then the way it ended, I was just so upset, because seriously, just no. NO. NO. NO! I NEED A BETTER ENDING! But as for a cliffhanger, it was great.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1375129683l/12842134.jpg" /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Now time to move onto the next book in the series. Beautiful switch in POV. Hearing the story from Willem was really cool, and I felt so bad for him and how heartbroken and lost he was. He's the seemingly sweetest guy ever, and I love him to pieces. I totally ship Lulu/Allyson and Willem. They're so cute together. :) But, then it ended roughly the same way as the other one, and I was just like UGH! NO! NO! NO! MUST. GET. BETTER. ENDING!!!!!!!!!!!!! But all the same, it was cute to see the relationship with Yael develop and that whole story with Broodje and all his friends. Yet another great book by Gayle Forman.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="400" src="http://www.perpetualpageturner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/22021611-201x300.jpg" width="267" /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So finally for this last story. Thank goodness Gayle Forman came out with this because I would have DIED without a clearer ending to Willem and Allyson's story. I just NEEDED to see what was going to happen between them, and thankfully, this was the answer! It was so cute to see the development in such a short amount of time, and I loved the was they kind of picked things back up to the way they were in Paris, without doing that at the same time, if that makes any sense at all! :) </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Needless to say, if you are looking for a fantabulous, heartwrenching, beautiful series, this is definitely the book for you. I loved it, and hopefully you will too! :)</div>

I've never actually been able to come up with any ideas, but the other night, I had this really strange dream, and it just might work. If anybody would like to read my first couple chapters, please let me know. It's only a few, but I'd love your feedback! :)<br />
So, for those of you from Goodreads, please just message me your email, and I'll happily send you them!<br />
<br />
<br />
Just a brief synopsis of where I'm planning on going with it:<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
McKenna keeps having a dream. She's been having it for weeks, and it always says the same thing.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
<i>The
manticore. It’s coming. You must stop them, and only you can. Use your gift,
your magic. You’re your family’s only hope. They’ll die without your help</i>.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
<span style="text-indent: 0.5in;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
<span style="text-indent: 0.5in;">What do you do when your family is said to be in danger, and what do you do when you had no idea that magic even exists?</span><span style="text-indent: 0.5in;"> </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
<span style="text-indent: 0.5in;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
Thanks y'all! :)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Seriously, I need to get more in the groove of writing things on this. But anyway, I'm back and the newest book I'm going to review is...THE MAZE RUNNER! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, anyway, I read this, and thought it was beautiful. I had wanted to read it, but I never took the initiative to actually do so. The story-line was so unique, and amazing. It really makes me want to be able to better write. Seriously, my writing skills are in need of some help (with regards to writing stories). But anyway, back to my reviewing of the book. The book was seriously awesome, as I've already said. It was set in a dystopian world, for those of you who don't already know, and it is essentially about the lives of boys who have to live in a maze. However, everything does change for them when they get a girl. Things kind of go down from there. But, I'm not going to spoil what you don't already know. Seriously though, if you haven't read it, make sure you do. </div>
Gabriellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12875196019856759358noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5419521106444334502.post-66565618488866150942014-08-24T17:04:00.000-07:002014-08-24T17:04:35.264-07:00Halo by Alexandra Adornetto<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="7778981" src="https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1361296225l/7778981.jpg" /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So...I hope some of you who view this review have read Halo, but if you haven't...definitely do because it was perfect...in literally every single flippin way! I don't understand how Alexandra could've written something so beautiful at such a young age! Like seriously...it makes no sense to me! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
But back to the point, it is such an original and absolutely fabulous story. Super easy to follow story-line, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to read it. Seriously, I know I say this all the time, but honestly, you need to read this book! It was amazing, and I'm on the 3rd book in the series, so yah! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Adios!</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Well, once again, let's see, I probably should have added something about this long ago, but, well, you see, I kind off got super busy with school and finals and all that jazz *cough cough summer*, so now I am going to post something about this gorgeous book! :) Super duper happy with the ending, and I..I..I cried...*sniff sniff* It was that beautiful. I loved loved loved it! I really hope that other people loved it or love it like I do, and if you didn't...well then...there are no words to describe how sad of a feeling that must be...<br />
But anyway! Read it! It is beautiful in every single way...no words can bring it down!<br />
<br />
ANYWAY...if you haven't already read it...please please please read it! You'll love it!<br />
<br />
Ciao!<br />

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">Well, it has certainly
been a while since I last reviewed something, but since it was summer, I wasn't
quite as able to review as I am during the year. So…I have quite a string of
books that I've just been dying to review!</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12.0pt; margin: 0in;">
I think I'm going to
start off with The Glow by Helen Whapshott. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="20892266" src="https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1393192970l/20892266.jpg" /></div>
<div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12.0pt; margin: 0in;">
So, this is a really
adorable story. I really liked it, which I found rather surprising because
generally, the whole 'ghost' thing, isn't really <span style="font-style: italic;">my</span>
thing. But, this book has got to be the exception. I really don't want to spoil it for anybody, but seriously...READ IT! It was fantabulous, and if anyone is to say otherwise, they deserve a slap across the face, because I loved it! </div>
<div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12.0pt; margin: 0in;">
Till next time!</div>
<div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12.0pt; margin: 0in;">

Gabriellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12875196019856759358noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5419521106444334502.post-51504263540764555072014-05-28T18:28:00.000-07:002014-05-28T18:28:18.190-07:00Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://img1.imagesbn.com/p/9781620610060_p0_v1_s260x420.JPG" /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So, I recently read Obsidian, and although many people say that it isn't a good book, it truly is. Sure, it has all those typical boy-next-door cliches and whatnot, I loved it! It was so adorable and such a good storyline. I will admit that the 'jerk-ness' of Daemon could have been toned down <i>just</i> a bit, but all in all, it was great. How anyone could have come up with such a great idea for a book, I don't know, but Jennifer did, and I'm so glad that she did because I have found yet another new book boyfriend, Daemon Black! :) Yes, yes, I know, that sounds incredibly cheesy, but you've got to give me some credit! He's kind of awesome! I mean seriously, he's an alien that is oober attractive and he can do all that cool stuff. (I won't say anything specific so as to not spoil it for anyone who still has to read it :) )</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
But seriously, if you haven't read it, I <i>DEFINITELY</i> suggest you do! I can be incredibly hard to please with books, but this did it! Read it and enjoy! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

That would be hilarious. We'd be like "Paperclip you!" or if we hit a wall or something, we could say, "Oh Paperclip!" Anytime we would do anything where you would cuss, you'd say Paperclip!<br />
It's quite hilarious! :)<br />
Paperclip, paperclip, paperclip! :)Gabriellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12875196019856759358noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5419521106444334502.post-29366051518543147252014-05-07T11:53:00.000-07:002014-05-07T11:53:04.963-07:00<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

So, let's just take a moment to reflect on how absolutely perfect Jamie Campbell Bower was in The Mortal Instruments. First off, he's gorgeous. Second, he's perfect!<br />
And I love him and Lily Collins together! They're adorable!<br />
